At George Watts Elementary School, learning feels lively and hums with harmony. Inside Ms. Bogue's lower elementary classroom, students explore math, reading, art, responsibility, and much more through the Montessori method. Ms. Bogue's daughter, Clara, also shares this connection as a third-grader at George Watts. Each morning begins with their warm routine, but the classroom quickly becomes more vibrant as Ms. Bogue's students support each other, grow in independence, and find joy in both serious work and playful moments. I am immensely grateful to George Watts Elementary School, Ms. Bogue, Clara, and her students for welcoming me into their world and allowing me to work with them on this project. Each time I walked into the school, I was always amazed by the creativity, the kindness, and the joy that radiated among the students. Ms. Bogue is genuinely such a sweet mom and teacher. Her warmth shines through every interaction, and I would've loved having Ms. Bogue as my elementary school teacher growing up. I am so glad that her students have such a bright role model in their lives, and I wish them happiness and success for many years to come. I've always loved storytelling and understanding the unique experiences that shape each person, and I will forever be grateful for capturing small moments that bring this community to life.
