This documentary follows a big family made up of two sisters, Diana and Fabiola, who went to George Watts Montessori and now work there, along with their children--brothers Felix and Oscar, siblings Janay and Jose, and their cousin Nico. It offers a small lens into their world, capturing the way they learn, play, and grow in a school that has become a home away from home.
I loved curating this project. I grew to appreciate each moment around the kids, and their joy made each moment special. I'm grateful to them for allowing me to become a small part of their classroom days. I'm grateful to their teachers and classmates for welcoming me into their community. I'm especially grateful to Diana and Fabiola for trusting me with their stories and for always being supportive. This family's strong connection and kindness made this film possible.
