My months in this classroom showed me just how powerful quiet leadership can be. While Montessori encourages freedom and independence, that freedom only works when someone is watching closely enough to notice who needs help and when. That someone for the kids in this class, every single day, was Ms. Ihekwu. Her patience, warmth, and consistency shaped not only the flow of the classroom but the confidence of its students.
